Dephonic has a new album coming out and they asked me to design the cover over the new album. It hasn't been that easy to design just because I don't know where to start. But After sitting down with the band, I was sent this picture of a pin up girl as a reference.
So I ran with it and then moved into stage two, which is what you got below.
So now that I have the outline and basic idea of what I want. Now I gotta scan this bad boy and remove the skelton outline. Stay tuned for further developments...
I can't believe these are real. I'm going to cop a pair after I finish buying all the junk I really need right now like an apartment. HAHAHA..
Fred and Friends is the coolest spot on the internet to cop some stuff that you wont find virtually anywhere. I got a napkin holder shaped like a man cut in half from here like a year ago but it broke when I was moving around my stuff. That was back in the days when I was still in college. HAHA. ... even though I'm only 3 months into graduate-hood... lol..
I write songs too and I think I write pretty good. But now I get the opportunity to get in the mind of one of the coolest artists out there. JOHN MAYER.. alright.. lets see what we can learn out of this.
I'm due for some new jeans and I think I'm going to go shopping later on this week. I'll either look for some stuff online or head back up to NY for some goods. No matter what, I need some jeans. In the meantime I'm going to get rid of all my jeans now, even my faithful Levi's capital E. I love denim but I just don't keep it up too well. DARN
The Jeans up top are made by Eastern Sewn. I like their jeans because they look the best when you were flat soles with them like chucks, vans, boat shoes, etc. And I like wearing the casual shoe because they are so universal in any scene.
Last week, some of the clothing boutiques in Philadelphia decided to host a night of basketball. Some of the stores that were on the court were Stussy, Ubiq, Made to Order, and Pedestrian to name a few. I liked this pic because it was like all cool and stuff. HAHA..
I think videos drain the hell out of my camera's batteries. I might have to look for a new camera. One thats a bit tougher when it comes to battery strength.
This was in the V.I.P Skybox, but you might as well say I was behind the stage.
While we were chilling in Union Square, this building had these numbers ticking away. None of us knew what the hell the numbers meant but I don't think anyone does. I heard it's a secret.
Didn't expect to see Taz at Summer Stage, but he was super cool. Funny because I put him on to the story that Uber posted about wanting to know who he was when he was spotted with Kanye. As you see there was more iPhone action in this pic. I need a new damn camera. If you want to get more info on Taz Arnold and Sa-Ra Creative Partners. Check my previous post about Sa-Ra.
One of the guys at UNDRCRWN gave me Karl Lagerfeld's DVD: Confidential, last friday to watch. I must say that it was a 2 1/2 hrs well spent. It was very interesting to walk in the life of a high-end designer. A perfect slice of life picture that adds to the mystique of being one of the top enigmatic successes in an industry and the can make even the strongest cry. If you can manage to get your hands on this DVD, definitely give it a look through. It's great for those of you that want a career in the fashion and even photography industries.
Tag! You're it! You are one of my choices for the following:
"List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now, shaping your summer. Post these instructions in your blog along with your 7 songs. Then tag 7 other people to see what they're listening to."
